Is Tender free to use?
Tender includes a 7-day free trial with full access to all features. After the trial, a subscription is required to continue using premium features.
What devices does Tender support?
Tender is currently available for iOS devices (iPhone and iPad) running iOS 14.0 or later. An Android version is planned for future release.
Is my data private and secure?
Absolutely. All your data is stored locally on your device. We don't have servers, databases, or any way to access your information. Your partner's details, preferences, and notes stay completely private on your device. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Do I need to create an account?
No! Tender doesn't require any account creation, login, or personal information. Just download the app and start using it immediately.
Can I back up my data?
Your data is backed up automatically through your device's iCloud backup (if enabled). When you restore your device or get a new one, your Tender data will be restored along with your other app data.
What if I delete the app?
If you uninstall Tender, all your data will be deleted from your device. Make sure you have iCloud backup enabled if you want to preserve your data for future reinstallation.
How do the date night suggestions work?
Tender provides bi-weekly date ideas that you can filter by your budget. The suggestions are designed to help you plan thoughtful, memorable experiences with your partner.
Does Tender work without internet?
Most features work offline, including viewing your partner's profile, setting reminders, and accessing stored notes. However, features like finding nearby movies, comedy shows, and date night venues require an internet connection.
How do I set up reminders?
Go to the Reminders tab in the app and tap the "+" button to create a new reminder. You can set it to repeat randomly, weekly, or monthly. Make sure you've granted notification permissions in your device settings.
What is Cooling Off Mode?
Cooling Off Mode is a feature designed to help during tense moments. It provides a 5-minute timer to give both partners space to breathe, offers suggestions for making things right, and includes pre-written messages you can send to communicate constructively.
Can I use Tender for multiple partners?
Currently, Tender is designed for managing one partner profile at a time. If you need to switch profiles, you would need to update the information manually.
How do I delete my data?
You can delete individual items within the app at any time. To completely remove all data, simply uninstall the app from your device. Since all data is stored locally, uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything.

Is there a way to sync data across devices?
Currently, Tender doesn't support cross-device syncing. Your data stays on the device where you installed the app. However, iCloud backup will preserve your data if you restore or switch to a new iPhone.
